Sauteed Greens

Ingredients

1 bunch Swiss chard or spinach

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 clove garlic

1 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/2 tsp Himalayan salt

Directions

  1. Wash greens, cut out stems if using chard, and chop leaves into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium-high.
  3. When the oil is hot, add the garlic and cumin and cook for 30 seconds, stirring. The mixture should be fragrant.
  4. Add the greens, pepper and salt. Mix well and cook 3-5 minutes until greens are wilted.
  5. Serve immediately.

  • These greens pair well with most meat entrees.
